Do CVI 3.1 applications run under Windows XP

I have an application that uses the RS232 port, that was originally written in LabWindows CVI 3.1. I have tried installing it on an XP Pro machine, and it APPEARS to work OK. However, am I likely to have problems with this if I try running it on other XP or 2000 machines?

Many thanks in advance.

Hello Paul

CVI 6 was the only version that has been tested so far on XP, so we do support using this version on XP. But since the other versions were not tested, I cannot really say at this point what problems you might come across, since there were significant changes that were made in XP. And CVI 3.1 came out a long time before XP was released.

Here is the list of NI software that is supported on XP
