Creating set up in which another software will be installed.

Hi everybody,

I am creating set up for my software in Lab/CVI 9.0.

My software is dependent on one software which should be installed before using my software.

So I want to install that software before my software installation in one single set up.

How can I do it??

Hi MAPJ,

We don't provide a simple method to run an installer before your distribution installer, but you can run it after your distribution installation.

The simplest way to do this is to include the installer in your distribution under the Files tab of the Edit Installer dialog. Move the entire installer (it may be a directory with many components) from Local Files & Directories into Installion Files & Directories. Then locate the setup.exe file and right-click and choose setup.exe options. In there, you can configure the setup.exe to Launch after Installation. You will probably want to set it as "Launch and wait for completion". There is also a way to Launch during Uninstallation if you want to uninstall it as well.
