Sure!
1. In the UI editor, open the source UI file.
2. Select the panel you want to copy.
3. From the Edit menu, select Copy Panel.
4. Open the destination UI file.
5. From the Edit menu, select Paste.

Al,

Since we are on this topic, why can't I copy stuff (panels, controls)
from 1 UIR file to the other, if the 2 UIR files are opened in 2
separate projects? This has been the issue since very first version of
CVI. Don't understand why it is so.

Hi,

I think this will have to do with the way CVI copies the UI objects; I don't think CVI sends those elements to the Windows clipboard but to an internal clipboard confined to one instance of CVI.

I would appreciate if you send us an official request for that feature; just go to http://www.ni.com/contact and select product feedback. I'll do it here on my part, but the more requests the better.
