CVIRTE 7.0 installing ?

Hi! I dit an application that is running on a few workstation (>50), actually on them is RTE 6 running now I would like to update the RTE but I dont want to have loging on each PC as Master for installing the CVIRTE 7.0, I would like to copy the needed files direct on the system trough a batch.

Q1: Can I do that ?
Q2: Which are the required files ? (Where I get them)
Q3: After copy the files on the system, do I need to restart the PC ?

i am not sure if something like this is possible. There is a good reason why NI uses installer: there are quite a few registry-entries and different folders to be created/copied.
The installer does this work for you, so why should we leave this service behind?
Because you have to change some entries in the registry, you must have admin-rights for you manual installation as well, so you cannot get around this point.
I would advise you to use the silent installation of CVI RTE. NI uses the Microsoft Installer (msi) so if you are missing parameters in the docu, feel free to take a look at http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/msi/setup/about_windows_installer.asp .
You can suppress an automatic reboot after installation wi
th the parameter "/r:n". But i do not know if the RTE works fine after the installation then.
