CVI2013 unable to load LabView RunTime-Engine?

Now I have tested your code again. I changed the structure of the code a little bit.
I can run the new code with no error.

Please see the attachment. My Code and Exe is called "myNI_test.exe" and "myNI_test.c"

Best Regards

Bernhard

Hello,

I cannot run the exe-file neither your project from CVI. Always the same system error 998.

I do not understand why the your changes in the code should make any difference.

I can also run your application if I change your code and structure of the worksheet like in the

Ok.....

one what you can try is:

->don't load an external modul in the Build>>Target Settings.

if you have checkmark there the external modul, please try to uncheck this.

Hello,

I have reinstalled the complete CVI2013 FDS hoping that solves the problem, but still the same.

The option "Enable LoadExternalModule" is always disabled.

Ok, this sounds not good.

Could you send me your current C Project and Workspace again, please. And screen copies

from all of your CVI environment settings.

I will try to reconstruct your settings and project. Maybe I find the issue.

Best regards

Hi Gunther.

I write you back in the forum because it is maybe interesting for other CVI users.

I tried your settings and example. But I didn't obtained the error. I see in your source file

you have your project on an other drive than c: . Is 😧 your root drive? If not,

can you copy your CR project folder to your root drive( c:\) and try it again, please.

best regards

Hello,

I tried it out, but this doesn't change anything (of course).

My original project is on c:\ (root drive). Only for separating I have made this test project on drive d:\.

I cannot see why it shouldn't work on another drive than the root drive.

Best regards

Gunther
