Whenever CVI encounters a run time error (fatal or non-fatal, such as null pointer access), it shows a dialog similar to below.
Once I click 'Break', it launches a new CVI window with title as 'Untitled.cws'. As soon as the window opens, it shows the below dialog.
(Unable to attach to the specified process.)
When I click OK, the dialog closes and nothing happens.
I am using CVI 2013 with F1 patch. Previously, it used to stop at the source code line where the error occured. Is there any setting I can change to bring back that behaviour?

This error seems to be part of the F1 patch changes. I have CVI at home and at work, and in both cases it started happening after the patch was installed. NI needs to fix this.

I have the same issue, has NI released an update to fix this error?

This problem is solved with Service Patch 2 for CVI vesion 2013. Anyway, the 2015 version is out, but if you are going to keep using 2013, you must update to patch #2.
