Adobe PDF Reader

I'm trying to create an ActiveX Adobe PDF Reader using the wizard when I select the Adobe PDF Reader under the ActiveX.. Menu option I get the error 'ActiveX control error',  I don't know why. I would appreciate any help.

You can also just launch Adobe Reader from inside a CVI app.  I do that in a couple large test programs, where I allow the operator to select a PDF document from a Ring Control, then the callback sends that file to Adobe Reader, which launches and displays it.

Thanks for the help. The problem was I need files rthe ActiveX files from adobe to create the PDF reader instrument.  I had the adobe reader installed on the system but I had to go on line and down load the reader from adobe which also loaded the ActiveX files required.

If I create a distrubution including the PDF Instrument will I still need the ActiveX files from adobe?
