ActiveX EXE Server Question

I am developing an Active EXE server app. in CVI 7 to
control a chamber by modifying the NI's simple events
server example.

My questions is how to make the server to
run as standalone app. The client
should be able to connect to the server only when the
server is running and the client should not close the
server when it is exiting.

Hello

You can use the CVI Distribution kit to create an installer for you . The installer can distribute the CVI RTE and register the server on the host machine as well. You will not need the CVI development enviornment on the target machine to run the server.

Thanks for the answer. But here is the problem I have.
I started the EXE server first and connected a client
to this server on the same machine. But when I closed
the client it closed the server also. Is there any
way to change this behavior so that I can keep the
server running all the time.
