Rif.: Active control is outlined

When running my application, the active control in the UI has a black outline that I find unaesthetic.  Is there a way to make it disappear?

As far as I know there is no way to disable the highlight on the active control. Nevertheless, if the contol has a lable the highlight lies around the lable instead of the control itself, This means also that if you move the lable out of visible screen area (e.g. with a label left value of 5000) the highlight won't be visible on the panel.
