When S/W Quality Assurance checks/build my final program, WinDiff indicates major differences, although the file sizes(bytes) are the same. CVI seems to build differently each time a "mark all files for compilation" and then "Build All" is done. I don't think it is a problem, but the QA people do before releasing my program to our Data Control. If I can provide a reason why, QA may accept my final build. Any thoughts or advise?
At least part of the binary differences are attributable to time stamps that are placed in the executable. There might be additional differences, but it will take us some time to investigate it. (In other words, I don't know off the top of my head...)
I'll let you know when I find any other differences besides the time.
