CVI for Linux

The instruction on the CVI build for Linux is missing a lot of vital information. Is there a more detailed step by step?

Such as...

Do the instrument driver need to reside in the /usr/local/natinst/cvi2013/instr directory? the permissions to the directory need to be open.

What is the build output going to be? I assume the {project name} but is ther an extension like windows ".exe"

Server farms... some more info on sourcing the CVIRTE for linux may be needed. so as I share my code, other info and permissions will be needed before the app will run?

Hi ASIC_LabRat,

Could you post your question on the CVI Discussion Forum as well? http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabWindows-CVI/bd-p/180

I will soon remove the "Discussions" tab from the Community so that we can consolidate all questions in one location.

Thank you for you patience.
