I have an XControl that needs a custom menu. I have placed callback events in the Facade.vi for "Shortcut Menu Activation?" events for both the Pane and the particular control. When the xcontrol is first dropped on the front panel of a VI, if I immediatly right-click I do not get my event callbacks. If i click off the VI and back again the callbacks work.
Does anyone know how to ensure the menu event is registered immediatly?
Further investigation showed that this is only a problem when the XControl is dragged from the project, not when it is placed from the controls menu, so it is much less of an issue.
