window resize with window's resolution

I would like to know if there are  tool existing to resize a front panel to  window's resolution. I've tried the automatic feature in the VI properties (window size). This did not resize all the objects on the screen. My screen looks like a mess.

Please help me!!

Thanks

I assume you have tried checking the following two window size options:
  • Size the front panel to the width an height of the entire screen
  • Scale all objects on front panel as window resizes.

No everything scales, e.g. font sizes seem to be constant.

Could you post a screenshot of the "mess". How different are your various monitor resolutions? What is your LabVIEW version?

I have tried checking the window size option.

I am using Labview 7.

I have tried from resolution 800*600 to 1280*1024

I have attached some screen shots.  Thanks for your help!!

Scaling down a front panel never really  works well. As was mentioned, fonts don't resize. A 10 pt font is a 10 pt font no matter the screen resolution.

What you should be doing is to design the front panel to fit on the smallest required resolution, not the largest. This is what I generally do, then don't even consider resizing the panel unless you need to for readability.

Using the Abort button to stop your VI is like using a tree to stop your car. It works, but there may be consequences.
