Wonderful!  I'll need to give Altenbach a Kudo for this.  I've never understood why NI created this monster (I once tried to use it, and was so confused ...), and have (without anything other than my own "lack of understanding") also recommended that LabVIEW beginners avoid this.  Good to have a Citation!
