what is the Metric algorithm in IMAQ AutoMThreshold2 VI?

Hello!

I am looking at the IMAQ AutoMThreshold (as well as the AutoBThreshold2) and it does not tell us which algorithms are being used to set

the thresholds.When I searched information on NI web and  It is only a brief statement and the formula.Does anyone know the  Metric  algorithm details?

Is it  similar as Minimum Error Thresholding Algorithm?
