vnc stops labview exe

Hi,

Windows XP OS.

I developed one labview application which basically reads data from one Arinc 708 (avionic) interface and writes them down to disk.

If I connect to the PC via VNC while the application is running and I do several times things like: reduce to icon and enlarge, the application stops writing data. It does not crash and you can still close it using the windows x icon. It goes in a kind of 'idle' state.

I also changed task priority (from normal to real time), things get better but the problem is still there.

Any suggestion?

Hi Pier,

I tried a couple of LV apps using Ultra VNC 1.0.2 but couldn't find any issues. Could you please specify what version of VNC you're using. Secondly, I was wondering why you are using VNC to access the VI. If you're just interested in accessing the front panel of the application you could use LabVIEW web server.

I use Tightvnc 1.3.9 without any problems.
