virtual flight gauges

Is there a better way to make virtual flight gauges in LabVIEW? I am looking for virtual cockpit displays such as artifical horizons, heading tapes, horizontal situation indicatiors, and altitude tapes.  I have implemented an artifical horizon in a piecewise, graphical manner in LabVIEW, but this was very cumbersome in a graphical sense.  Does anyone know of a ready-made toolbox of LabVIEW flight instruments?  Has anyone done anything like this?

Thank You

I know there are lots more, just try a bit of data mining in the forum for some more examples (there is a really nice example of some boat controls that I just can't quite put my finger on), but they are all based on the same principles outlined above.

There are activex versions on the web.

Thank you. These are exactly the instruments that I seek.  Any advanced lessons in using these Active X graphics with LabVIEW?  Are these supposed to be a plug-and-play operation with LabVIEW?

You can add an activex control to the front panel and select the new gauge types.  You will use property nodes on the block diagram. It takes a bit more work. Hopefully the company documented the controls or it can be a bit difficult.

You should start your own thread rather than resurrecting multiple threads that are over 10 years old.

Yes I checked it. Nothing is given like that in some example they give 3D plotting but nothing like artificial horizon or attitude indicator. Any idea how to design such indicators or threads in labview.
