vi with daq assistant association, LV 7.1

Hi,

I'm working with a vi that was originally created using the DAQ Assistant, it seems the code was converted from the DAQ Assistant world to the regular "vi" world but I cannot set execution properties for the new vi.  The top header reads "DAQ Assistant [MyNewVi.vi] Front Panel".  Will I have to rewrite this vi to regain control of this vi?

It is attached.

Thanks for any assistance.

I don't understand your question.

If I open that VI you posted and go to File/VI Properties then the Execution  drop down, I'm able to set the execution properties for it.

If it's a matter that you don't like the Window title, then you can set that from the Window Appearance Dro down for the VI Properties.

Yeah, when I download and open on a different machine in LV2009, I too see the options.  The issue I'm having is the "Run when opened" and all other check boxes except "Reentrant execution" are not available, greyed out.

Its not a problem with the name, I want the subvi to launch when it is called but the options are not available.

Re: vi with daq assistant association, LV 7.1

I'm stuck using 7.1 for this project so opening on another computer doesn't seem to help.  Maybe I'll just copy everything into an new vi, that will probably fix the problem. But I still feel that since the vi was converted from a DAQ Assistant that is somehow messing with the properties.

My copy into new file solution worked.  Goofy but whatever. Thanks for the response.
