thorlabs rotational motor control timeout

Hi, I am building an application in labview that involves a THORlabs rotational motor and controller cube. Specifically I am using the TDC001 controller cube and the CR1Z7 motorized platform. My problem comes when I send the first command to move within labview when it just times out most of the time. However, it is not 100% of the time and I can control the motor just fine from the apt interface. Have I just missed something simple about motor controls? This code has worked for me in the past so I am not sure what is going wrong.

 

Ive attached the code I am using as well as the motor control subVI. The larger VI essentially just reads two external trigger signals and then moves on to the rotational part. The exact amount of rotation depends on the iteration number.

I've looked at your code and nothing is glaring, but without seeing what the MG17 motor reference entails I'm not sure I can be of much help. Any chance you could provide more details on it?
