I have a question for the labview community.

I am currently running a basic VI that transfers data into a tdms file every second. When the VI runs for a couple of hours, the VI stops easily with a 'stop' button. This past weekend, the VI was running the entire weekend. The VI could only be stopped by closing out all of Labview rather than the 'stop' button. Any ideas how to fix the labview crash?

There's a lot of things that could cause that.  The likely case is that you have a small memory leak.  Would need to see code to diagnose any further.
