simulate signal for hardware to acquire

I am using ni-scope to acquire signal and perform signal processing. Is there a way to simulate a white noise and feed the noise to ni-scope, for it to acquire. I only use this to trouble shoot my code. Eventually, i will have the real signal connect to ni-scope.

Use a analog out channel for passing the noise to the Scope. There are couple of vi built in for generating different types of noise

What Guru meant to say, I believe, is that you need something to physically generate a signal such as an NI DAQ board.
