setting DPI of image

Solved!
Go to solution

I am trying to create an image and then save that to a file to be printed later. I notice that the picture functions seem to default to a 96 DPI image. Is there some way to increase that? I need to add some pretty small text to the picture and it is turning out eligible.

I'm not sure that you have any control over that. BTW: What does your text turn out to be eligible for? 🙂

Tackle eligible?  Or is it a Patriots stunt where you declare a running back ineligible?

If you save to BMP, you can specify pixel per inch in horizontal & verticle.

You have to modify the Write BMP File.vi a little bit, so that you can pass the header in, and not get overwrited.

I had just figured this out actually.  This works great.  Not sure why it doesn't come like this.
