This is a seven year old thread and your problem seems to be quite different. Are you sending a hexadecimally formatted string (letters 0..F delimited by spaces) or is this a binary string where you set the string indicator to hex display to inspect the contents?

Are you sure all communication parameters are set correctly?

Yes all the parameters are set correctly in docklight as well as on my receiver device as well.

You can see the attached image of what settings i am doing in docklight.The same serial settings are there in my receiver device.

Still I am getting the extra "FF" in my received data.I am receiving following data on my receiver device:

02 0B 10 1A 00 38 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF B1 10 67 03

Please provide some solution.
