Hi AutonomousMode,

i found a link that descirbes the functionality of that block "scan string for tokens"

Link:

http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/B9DB9CCCE998D375862569130063D6B9

At the enf of that page you will find a LabVIEW 2011 example. ("LabVIEW 2011 Scan String for Token VI")

You can try that code and follow the functionality with the Highlight Mode.

The funtion can be used in a loop to scan a string for its operators (partial strings)

and you can also split the string with delimiters.

Have a nice day,

NI Germany
