saving plot or graph settings to disk

Does anyone know an easy way to save plot or graph settings to a file.  I know how to write to and read from a file, so that's not the problem.  It's just that, I really don't want to break this all down and save each and every possible property using property nodes.  That seems very sloppy and I'm thinking there must be a way to save it all the plot or graph properties together?  Thanks.

Hello Rick,

You might want to try looking at this thread.  It seems that there isn't a truly seamless way to do this, but there are multiple customer solutions posted.

Happy programming!

Yup, I've seen that... but that is a lot of work to save each and every property.  I've already started coding that.  I was looking for an easy way to do it.  Thanks.
