Strings can show a display format.  All of those constants are <CR LF>

Hi, Jeff - just curious.  Is the first example valid across all platforms?

Bill,

It works exactly the same on the Mac. I think it should work on all platforms.

Note that the End of Line "constant" is platform dependent and that it has changed on the Mac with a past OS upgrade.

They better be cross platform. They are copys of the same constant. Only display formatting changes not the value.

"Should be" isn't "Is" -Jay

I didn't have LabVIEW on the computer I was responding on so I couldn't tell what it was.  The first one looked like what I get when I hit the <enter> key, which isn't the same thing.

I somehow managed to misss the information under the snippet.
