my question is can I import a 3D model of UAV .dae (COLLADA file) as is here http://www.ni.com/tutorial/14780/en/
and simulate. because I no example predefined except arms and mobile robot

Have you tried this tutorial with the COLLADA file? If so are you seeing an error? Are you having issues with the import or with the simulation?

I work with solidworks, I can just save my file .wrl.in this link http://www.ni.com/white-paper/14133/en/ I find that I can import this file type.
but when I import my file it displays this error
