problem of installing biomedical startup kit 3

hi. I have installed labview 8.6, runtime engine and biomedical startup kit 3 on Windows 8.1. Why can I not find the biomedical kit on functions panel in labview8.3? I also installed labview 2012, but cannot find either. please help me with that.

Did you install the toolkit after installing 2012?

What exactly did you install and in what order? What is LabVIEW 8.3?

Also note that LabVIEW 8.6 and LabVIEW 2012 are not officially supported in windows 8.1 (details).

I installed labview 8.6 and biomedical startup kit 3 first, but it did not work. so, I then installed labview 2012. it failed again.

Of course it matters. Support cannot be added to non-existant software. Reinstall the toolkit.
