problem in scanning wavelength

hi,

i am using labview 8 and instrument is arc monochromator.

i want to create vi to scan wavelength from one point to other(intial to final wavelength).

i have attached the vi below .one vi is to set the wavelength. the other vi(named case) which iam creating is to scan wavelength.

in this vi (named case) first case structure is for setting the wavelength and in other scanning wavelength to specified point.

it start scanning up to 2-5 nm than stops and give error in the lower case structure in the block diagram

The function to scan wavelength is ARC_MONO_SCAN_TO_NM. you can check this in configure call library function node.

plz tell my approach to do the task to scan wavelength is right or not. if its wrong what should i do?

 help me to remove this problem

Hi Josan,

I'm not sure I completely understand the problem. However, there appears to be an instrument driver for your instrument on the Instrument Driver page on ni.com. You may want to check it out to see if it might make programming a little easier for you. You can find the instrument driver by going to: http://www.ni.com/devzone/idnet/  and searching the drivers for monochromator. I hope this helps!
