pda-update while typing of a control

I search a possibility to recognize, if the content of a string control is changed, while the control is activated and and new characters are inputed.
Under Labview for windows it exists the property "update while typing", but I have to create a VI for a PDA device.
Without this property new inputs are recognized until the activation of the control is ended.
The proberty isn't supported by LabView for pda.

Hello firestarter,

I made some tests on my Palm PDA but did not find a solution for this task as well. The "update while typing" feature does not seem to be supported by the Palm OS so that the "value change" event is first fired when the control looses its focus. Unfortunately you cannot control the focus programmatically.
