Dear NI

can i restart my windows machine using nisyscfg restart.vi (is it nisyscfg is for realtime machines?)

i have tried by using session in as localhost, but the following error occured.

Hi,

No, You can only restart NI RT targets with this VI.

If you want to restart the Windows computer on which you run your VI, one way is to use the User32.dll with the function "ExitWindowsEx".
