myDAQ still not recognized

Hello, I recently purchased a myDAQ and am trying to use it on my Windows 7 computer. I installed the software, but the device is not recognized by MAX. I have tried reinstalling the software, updating to the 9.6 driver, and changing the settings for the NI device loader in my services. The myDAQ device does not appear at all in the device manager. This is the second myDAQ I have tried (when this was happening the first time, I returned the myDAQ to the store and exchanged it for a new one). Please help...

First, I would try plugging it into the other USB ports on your computer if you haven't tried that yet. If it's still not being recognized under Data Acquisistion Devices in the Windows Device Manager, then the next step you should take is to try it with another computer if you can.
