my vi has password on help/exit - how do i get in to modify

I need to modify a vi that was written by someone else. When I open the vi it runs - I understand I need to go to help and exit to enable me to modify it. This function is passowrd protected and the original author does not remember a password. Is there any way I can modify this vi?

When even the original Author does not remember the password.....No.

But you can try contact your local NI Office, or better the author of the VI should do it. Maybe they can help you.

No if the password is lost, you have no option. If you know the programmer maybe he/she can give you some help in restoring it from scratch

Besides which, my opinion is that Express VIs Carthage must be destroyed deleted
(Sorry no Labview "brag list" so far)
