move LabVIEW 2012 SE to a new PC

Hello,

Finally getting a new home PC, I will need to install my 2012 Student edition on this. The 2012 SE was a down load only so I do not have a disk. Will I still be able to DL this from NI and use my key to activate it? My CLAD expired 2 years ago and I am going to need to brush up a bit for the exam!

Thans,

Alan

Can't help with the Student Edition.

You get 45 days to try the new LabVIEW 2014. That should be enough to brush up for the CLAD exam, no?

You could try calling NI.

I have only had LabVIEW through work.

As long as you are a student, the student edition is free. See here for detail.

They're likely talking about the version you can buy from Studica for $20.

Can you still download it from Studica?  If not, you'll need to find the installer somewhere.  The SN you used will still work so make sure to get that from the old computer.  You can find it in the NI License Manager.
