micropulse generation

I want to Simulate a pulse train of maximum 300 pulses per sec in Labview having following specifications:

On time: 10 us

Rise time: 500 ns

Fall time: 500 ns

Peak Pulse Amplitude: 3 V.

I tried simulating the signal using Express VI as well as other Signal processing palette but couldn't generate the exact signal. Is it possible to generate a waveform having above mentioned parameters in LabVIEW?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Yes, that's possible: Use a dt of 500ns…

Can you be a little more elaborate, please?

I didn't see any 'dt' option in Express VIs.

Thanks

Hi arihant,

"dt" is a parameter of a waveform…

And I would avoid ExpressVIs, there are a lot of nice functions in the signal generation palette!

Thanks for the reply.

I will to generate the pulse train without using Express VI and will message you if face any problem.

Hi GerdW,

I tried generating a pulse train using palettes available in Labview. The vi exucutes but shows zero amplitude only but not a pulse train. I am attaching the vi herewith. I am unable to trace the mistake. If possible kindly point out the mistake I am making.

Hello GerdW,

Thanks for your effort but I couldn't open the file due to version issue.  I am using LabVIEW 2011 SP1. If possible, kindly attach a compatible vi.

Sorry to bother you so much regarding this.

Regards,

Arihant

Smiley Surprised

I was taking help from labview examples. Silly me.

Thanks a ton.

Learning to play with the palette parameters. They are also giving me a nightmare.Smiley Very Happy

Will get back to you very soon.
