Hello.
I want to program the following in Labview.
In a system I want to run a load in a straight line with a stepper motor. A sensor is attached to the load and gives a puls each 5 mm. For example I want to position the load at 56 mm. To do this I want de steppermotor to
move and count the pulses. When reached 11 pulses the load is at 55 mm, then I want the motor to run the steps remaining to reach 56 mm. Those steps will be programmed before because the are knows. The positioning is more precise than open loop because te positions at 5, 10, 15, 20 mm etc. are known.
I'm using Labview 7.1 with PCI-7334 and MID-7604 stepper drive. The sensor is a Photointerruper.
What Input must I use for the sensor, trigger of breakpoint?
My problem is to program it in Labview. Can somebody more familiar with labview submit a code or one similar for me?
