labview 7.1 windows 98 install

Windows 98 is supported by LV version 7.0 - so if you are using 7.1 you could "save for previous version".

Of course you would still need to have the version 7.0 development system and application builder available to rebuild an version 7.0 executable.

It is O.K. to have multiple development system version installed concurrently on a single P.C. - not sure how many versions back this applies (I think at least as far back as version 6.0). I have 7.0 and 7.1 installed on my machine, without any problems, so can save for previous back to 6.1 if needs be.

Be warned though: if you want to reinstall a previous development system version, I believe it is probably neccessary to uninstall later versions first, then reinstall the various versions in chronological order (you'll need a spare hour or two!).
