I am upgrading an existing acquisition system and software's.
The system is now composed with PCI 6259 connected to SCXI-1000 following #4 SCXI-1102 AND #4 SCXI TC-2095.
Before the system had a PCI - MIO 16XE 50.
I am converting also from LV 5.0 to LV 7.1 and passing from DAQ to DAQmx.
The previews acquisition codes contain a sub-vi for the startup of the system!
It makes an acquisition on the channel 0 on the first SCXI-1102 and also make an acquisition from the PCI MIO card without specification of the channel but just imposing the sample rate and the number of samples. The outputs are not connected. Anybody have an idea if is necessary to perform this operation of startup?? I tried to look in the NI documentation but I did not find any advice about the necessity of this operation.
