imaq usb in visual basic

Can some please tell me how to configure CWIMAQ control in vb 6 to connect to an usb camera?

The NI-IMAQ for USB Cameras driver does not currently support development in any environment other than LabVIEW, so you will not be able to acquire with a CWIMAQ control using Visual Basic and a USB camera.  You might be able to find more information at the page linked below.  It directly relates to acquisition in LabVIEW, but you may be able to find some useful information there to start with.

Thanks a lot. I wanted to confirm. I had a strong feeling going thru the help file the above said kb link. Atleast , i can stop trying. Sad to know that there is no other alternative.
