imaq USB with Belkin DVD creator

Hi,
I've bought a DirectShow compliant USB video acquisition board named Hi-Speed USB DVD creator (Belkin).
I've tried it with the basic imaqUSB examples.llb VIs and the device seems to be recognized but an error follow.
I attach the snap.vi error.
I've searched for other ways to get pictures on your site but the solutions are specific and I'd prefer to use the NI imaq for USB camera VIs.

May someone help me to avoid this error?

Thank you in advance.

Hello Bimbim,

The NI-IMAQ for USB Camera driver supports any camera with a Direct Show filter.
Please see the link below to have more information about this driver:

Now, you have a DirectShow compliant USB video acquisition board.
Are you using French OS? Which one?
Can you please try to perform this acquisition on English OS?

Hi,
I'm using a french version of Windows 2000.
I'll try to find a PC equipped with an English version but it could take more time.
Is there a way to fix the problem on the VIs, not being dependant of the OS version?
Do you think NI developpers will manage the problem?

I'm really looking forward to your early reply.
Thank you in advance.

Hello,

For the moment, the best way to resolve the problem is to try to use the driver on English OS.
Yes, NI developpers will manage the problem.
I suggest you also to download the new next version of this driver.

Hi,
I'll try an english OS, if I find one quickly.
Do you know when the new next version of this driver will be available?
I've tried it a week ago and it doesn't work.
As I need a solution quickly, I hope this version will come soon...

Thank you again for your answers.
I'm looking forward to your answer.
