image over control

  1   If i load any control or indicators over the image will the process will become slow in updating the indicators

 

  2   Will the memory of the application will increase if i keep images just to make front panel look attractive

1. If you have a control on top of the image, any time LabVIEW has to redraw the control, it will redraw the entire image that's beneath the control. So, it's good practice to to cut off the portion of an image that's going to be below the control, if possible.

2. The front panel memory of the application definitely increases but this can be controlled by having a small memory background image.
