Hi Aeastet,

I am confused now. I do nothing but open the examples under agilent 3458. I thought each example should be individual and can run independently.

I tried every example under agilent 3458. If there are some SUBVIs and top VIs, I should at least find one top VIs and run it correctly.

Am I in the right direction?

You can write your own vi.

1) initialize.vi

2) what you require

3) close.vi

Yes, you are correct about that. I was not sure how much you know about LabVIEW. Have you tried starting the examples with the light bulb on to see where the vi's are giving you trouble?

Hi Mathan,

The problem is that I just start to learn labview, and I don't know how to write my own vi yet. 😞

That's why I want to view a complete example, which can give me better understanding.

Hi Aeastet,

I almost know nothing about labview. Thanks for reminding me. I made a very stupid mistake, that I didn't choose the Visa Resource Name....

Now the examples can run correctly.
