generic error of labview 2011

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello all!

I'd like to ask has anybody encountered the problem:  "generic error, Labview load error code 3: Could not load front panel"

in labview 2011. It is when I wanted to load a subvi into my main vi and it happened.

In the forum I see that someone got this problem when using labview 2009, and they were able to fix it

by installing a f3 patch. But for labview 2011 anyone got any idea?

thanks.

Well I guess so....and unfortunately I didn't back up...

Anyway thanks for replying, and I'd better post my vi here and see

if anyone got a way to open it.

Hi,

I was able to recover your VI: try to verify if it opens correctly also for you.

Bye!

Yes it is recovered and I can open it!

Thank you so much! But how did you make it? Any tips?

I'm glad the VI works also for you!

I had a look at the internal warning generated after trying to open the VI in updated versions of LabVIEW (where I got the same error as you) and was able to apply an internal procedure to fix the VI (which had a corrupt connector pane).

Bye!

Ah I see, seems a high level solution which I'm not able to handle.

Anyway thanks a lot for the effort!

What was the solution. How you fixed it?

It is very tricky error which caused by unknown reasong known to me....

Tell the procedure. It will be great help for others in future

Well the solution should be the second message of Licia instead the one which I marked as a solution.

As she said she applied an internal procedure to fix it, which remains unknown to me.

If possible I'd like to know it in detail, too.
