Hi mike,

 

In the NI website there are not a 2704 drivers. Only 24XX drivers

Give then a try, the low-level IO at least should work for you. Naturally, if there are higher-level VIs that refer to attributes that are specific to a particular model they won't be useful.

Yes, it existed in varying forms before SCPI. Then it was just one of the commands that HP used with their equipment. It was part of what HP brought to the party when SCPI was formalized. As I recall the two big contributors were HP and Tek.
