dynamically loading vi lib vi error 1003

I cannot dynamically load a vi that includes a vi from the vi lib.

See example.

How to test:

  •          Unpack the zip file.
  •          Open the project
  •          Set the path in testloading.vi to the path of file to load
  •          Make current values default
  •          Build executable.
  •          Run executable.
  •          A dialog appears and you need to point to the file in vi lib.

If you point to the file in the vi lib, the vi is not runnable because the file still has a question mark.

Hi Jonvo.

I believe I have seen this before. I made a rather long description of what is causing this in another forum post. Please have a look:

Missing vi.lib files in Run-Time LabVIEW 2012
