dsc emergency data are no longer remembered in "CITADEL".

Hello all
I am using LV 2010 + DSC.
I have created a variable that SVE write in "CITADEL".
Why after a while 1-2 months emergency data are no longer remembered in "CITADEL".
I try to watch them with «Alarm & Event Query.vi" and see that there is no data in the table.

Hello Iskander,

How is your variable library configured? In the library for your variable, if you go to "properties", there is a "DSC Settings: Database" tab. In that tab you should be able to configure how long your data is stored.

One other area to check for your alarms is in MAX. Open up MAX and expand "Historical Data". Then right-click on Citadel 5 Universe  and create a new Alarms and Events view. Select that view, configure the filters to target your database, and then go to display to show the alarms and events that were logged.

Hi Colden R

Thanks

Database is running. I opened the "MAX" and see how the data is stored in an archive «Double».
I created Alarms & Events for «Double» and "Boolean".
The database is not written "Alarms & Events" for «Double» and "Boolean".

Why?

Best regards

Iskander

Hello Iskander,

I don't have a sense of what you're trying to log or logged in the past, so I'm not sure what is missing from the screenshot you attached. It appears as though some alarms exist in the database.

How is your variable library configured? What are the database settings for that library? Also, did you configure your variables to log alarms and events?

Hi Colden R.
I have created the following databases:
C__Program_Files_National_Instruments_LabVIEW_2010_data
C__Program_Files_National_Instruments_LabVIEW_2011_data
D__Program_Files_National_Instruments_LabVIEW_2010_data
D__Program_Files_National_Instruments_LabVIEW_8_6_data
I see that in the database on disk C:
C__Program_Files_National_Instruments_LabVIEW_2010_data
C__Program_Files_National_Instruments_LabVIEW_2011_data
Information "Alarms & Events" is not written.
And in the database on disk 😧
D__Program_Files_National_Instruments_LabVIEW_2010_data
D__Program_Files_National_Instruments_LabVIEW_8_6_data
Information "Alarms & Events" is written.

Why

Hello Iskander,

Have you configured the variables you're writing to using LabVIEW 2010/2011 to log alarms and events?

Hi Colden R

Thanks for the attention.

I created the project using the DSC.
I then created a library of GRP 1.lvlib with Shared Variables.

I configured the variables to log alarms and events
Name of the database I choose: GRP 1.lvlib/Properties/DSC Setting: Database / Database name.
Alarms & Events are stored in the database on the disk D, and on the drive C (system drive) is not saved.
In the project I changed only the names of the databases.

Regards

Iskander
