demodulation for fault detection

I am searching a VI for demodulating signals for mechanical fault detection. Given a signal whose amplitude and frequency content change over the time, I need to extract the amplitude envelope and the istantaneous frequency of a component Please show me if there are existing program for that issue Regards Marco Milan

Hi

Are you using the principle as used i a lock-in amplifier?

Besides which, my opinion is that Express VIs Carthage must be destroyed deleted
(Sorry no Labview "brag list" so far)

As the frequency component that I have to extract from the signal change in amplitude and in frequency,

I was looking for a method using Wavelets or the Iterated Hilbert transform.

The lock-in Amplifier methods seems useful to extract tones that do not change in frequency over time.

Thanks

Marco
