daq suggestions

Hi people ,

I need some help , I am searching for DAQ board which is suitable for my task .

I have two displacements sensors about 100khz  as analog input and  one 100khz analog output to the motor  as feedback.

What all the requirements ? Also Which board is enough for this purpose?

Hello MaveenD,

to clarify some things I have some questions to you.

  1. Do you need 1 analog input and 1 analog output or 2 analog inputs and 1 analog output?
  2. What bus would you like to use (USB, Ethernet, etc.)? The amount of data that can be transmitted through different busses may differ greatly.
  3. What sampling rate would you need for each signal?
  4. Do you need built-in signal-conditioning?
  5. Does the system have to be flexible?

Looking forward for your feedback.

Best regards

Thanks for the reply.

1.I need 2 analog inputs and 1 analog output

2.I dont mind whether it is USB or Ethernet.

3.I think I have use 100Khz transmission.

4.Yes i need a built in signal conditioning.

5.No need not be flexible

Hello MaveenD,

do you require 100 kHz sampling rate on each channel or in total? I'm asking because certain devices use a multiplexer to switch between the inputs. The sampling rate is then shared between these inputs.

What bandwidth do your signals have (cutoff frequency)?

Hello MaveenD,

If I understood everything correctly, a NI USB DAQ device with 250kS/s should do it for you. You should talk to a sales representative who will assist you in choosing an appropriate device.
