custom scale in labview graphs

Hello,

in my application I need a graph that plots the x-axis in a custom scale. It is a time axis which should be linear up to a predefined positive number x and after that logarithmic. Is it possible to change the graph itself to do that - or is it better to rescale the data before plotting?

Thanks, Sebastian

Hi Sebastian,

I don't think you can scale graphs like that. You might want to use an XY graph, then you can provide the X Axis that the data is plotted against. Go to Help>> Find Examples...>>Building User Interfaces>>Displaying Data>>Graphs and Charts for examples of using XY graphs.

for an over-kill solution Smiley Surprised

Just skip the picture control stuff and use the "markers" property of the X-Scale.
