connector pane full LV 2010

I can't add no more terminals in my pane. How to overcome this?

How many terminals do you have?

If you are using all that LabVIEW can provide you (the most dense pattern has 28 terminals), then you are trying to do too much in that subVI.  Have you tried bundling related wires into a cluster to pass into the subVI?

If not, do you know how to change the connector pane? It's in the LabVIEW Help: http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361G-01/lvconcepts/icon_and_connector_pane/

If so then don't change it. Nearly all of the time it is best to use the standard connector pane. If you are out of terminals it is time to learn about clusters.

You're right. Clusters is the way to go now...

How to send a cluster with references from a top VI to a sub VI?

Use a bundle node, create an indicator from its output, then move the indicator to the subvi, change it to control and connect to the pane.

Hi JoVMo,

If you want to do this same with VI references, you can check the attached VI. Download both VIs and run A.vi. It calls the cluster values from B.vi.

That's a nice tip NitzZ... Passing data without a connector...
